Peter Pan Morning Tea @ The Langham Sydney

To celebrate the launch of Peter Pan on Blu-ray and DVD The Langham, Sydney (previous known as Sydney Observatory Hotel is hosting a fairy-tale Peter Pan Morning  Tea during  the Winter School Holiday from 29 June 2013 until 14 July 2013.

It was my daughter’s birthday and I promised to bring her to high tea. Then I saw this event on Sydney Children Magazine. I rang and booked for 3 seats. The staff mentioned the morning tea was heavily booked but she said she could do something for me. Unfortunately, I didn’t note down the staff’s name (Asian Lady) but she was very helpful and friendly on the phone.

On the day, we greeted by the friendly Concierge and showed us our way to The Globe. Although I know my way ( was VIP La Prairie Client for The Day Spa Sydney Observatory Hotel), I still enjoyed the friendliness and the service.

We were early for our Morning Tea. Pearl (my daughter) and Pierre (my son) made themselves comfortable at the table.  Straightaway they were busy coloring. Ernestos, The Restaurant and Bar Manager greeted the kids and myself with friendly smile on his face.  “My little lady, would you like something to drink?” he asked Pearl.  He lowered down to her height and spoke with her.   “We have orange juice, apple juice, hot chocolate …”. “Apple Juice, please?” Pearl said.  Pierre didn’t wait for his turn and said “me too!” and continue his colouring.  I ordered a nice Lavender Tea!  (The Lavender Tea was divine! Must try!)

The Morning Tea took about an hour and next was stpry-telling session. All the kids were asked to gather at the fire place outside The Globe. They were so excited to be seated. The kids were listening. There were questions and answers too. At the end, the kids were queuing up to receive a copy of Peter Pan book, a certificate and a special stickers. It was such a wonderful morning for the mums and kids.🙂
